In June, the Li River and Li River Cruise offers breathtaking views. As it hardly rains in June, water in the river is fairly crystal-clear. The water level in the river is neither high nor low. Plants along the river add more vitality to the river.
- You could take a daily big cruise boat to Yangshuo from Guilin. The cruise lasts for some 4 hours. People of all ages are allowed to take the big boat.
- If you want your own privacy, the private motorized raft is a great option. It will take you to appreciate the stunning views from Xingping to Nine-horse Fresco Hill and back to Xingping. However, pregnant women, children under 1.2m tall and the elder above 65 years old are forbidden to take the raft.

5. Xianggong Hill
As most of days in June are sunny, you could put Xianggong Hill into your schedule for your stay in Yangshuo. If you are a keen photographer, it is recommended that you take pictures of the gorgeous sunrise from the top of the hill in the very early morning. That the Li River winds by the foot of the hill adds more charm to the hill.
6. Cuiping Hill
Cuiping Hill is located in Putao Town. The sunset from the top of the hill is always amazing. It is becoming better-known among photographers and tourists. During the sunset, smoke from the village chimneys makes contents of the view richer. Sunset clouds, farmland, the Tortoise River and hills in the distance are covered with golden sunlight. The road on the hill is not so good as that on Xianggong Hill. Thus, it is not suggested that pregnant women, young children and the elder above 60 years old explore the hill.
7. Silver Cave
In June, it is always cool in caves. If you’d like to explore the Silver Cave featuring stalactites in different shapes during your Yangshuo tour, it is recommended that you discover it in the morning.
