All times outlined below are approximates as the tour is a private tour, time is flexible & subject to change
8:00 am – 8:30 am:
- Meet your tour guide at your Beijing Hotel Lobby and transfer to Tian’anmen Square.
8:30 pm – 11:30 pm:
- Visit Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City
11:30 pm – 2:00 pm:
- Drive to Great Wall and have Lunch at local restaurant (self paid)
14:00 am – 16:00 pm:
- Explore Mutianyu Great Wall (including chairlift and toboggan rides)
5:30 pm: Drop off at your Beijing Hotel (within 4th Ring Road)
Please note, the tour includes 8–9 hours of service by the guide and driver. Additional hours will incur overtime service fees.

Detailed Tour Itinerary:
In the morning, your private tour guide and driver will meet you at your Beijing Hotel lobby (all hotels within 4th Ring Road of Beijing – if staying outside of this area, additional fees apply). We recommend meeting at 8:00 am as an early start is best to visit the Forbidden City & Tian’an Men Square.
After visiting Tiananmen Square, you’ll walk to The Forbidden City, which is the largest and best preserved imperial palace in the entire world. This palace complex is a UNESCO world heritage site, housing the largest collection of ancient wood structures throughout the world.
After visiting the Forbidden City, you’ll drive approximately 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival, enjoy a quick lunch at a nearby local restaurant (your guide can provide recommendations based on your preferences). After lunch, take a chairlift up to the Great Wall. Mutianyu is the longest restored section and is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. You’ll have approx. 2 hours to explore before returning to the base via chairlift (included) or toboggan ride.
After visiting Mutianyu Great Wall, you will return to Beijing downtown (1.5hrs by car) and be dropped off at your centrally located hotel.
