Join our team for this active private guided day tour, which includes a visit to different villages at the Rice Terraces, hiking throughout the terraces and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Tour Highlights:
All times outlined below are approximates as the tour is a private tour, time is flexible & subject to change
- Meet your tour guide and driver at your Guilin Hotel Lobby
- Transfer to Jinkeng Rice Terraces
- Arrive at the Longji Rice Terraces Ticket Office to purchase tickets and take a short rest break
- Continue travel to Tiantouzhai Village
11:00 am
- Arrive at Tiantouzhai Yao Village.
- Walk to the “Thousand-Layer Ladder” viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panorama of the rice terraces.
- Yao Minority woman Long-Hair Demonstration at Tiantouzhai Village (or nearby village )
- Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant in Tiantouzhai Village, where you can taste the local specialties — Bamboo Rice and Bamboo Chicken if interested. (Lunch not included.)
- Hike along Rice Terraces Trail and explore Jinkeng rice Terraces view points from Tiantouzhai Village to Dazhai Village.
- Cable car ride up to Golden Buddha Peak View point
- Explore additional rice terrace viewpoints and enjoy a hike through the rice paddies (optional and flexible, depending on your hiking preference).
- Depart Golden Buddha Peak View Point
- Walk down along Rice Terraces Trails towards base of the Rice Terraces at Dazhai Village
- Arrive at Dazhai Village
5:10 pm – 6:40 pm(approx.)
- Depart Dazhai Village with transfer back to Guilin (1.5 x hours) or to Yangshuo (3 x hours) *additional fee applies if you need a transfer to Yangshuo after tour*

- Please note, we don’t require ‘x’ amount to be paid by clients on a daily basis to tour guide/driver or force tipping. However, gratuities are greatly appreciated at the conclusion of tour by guide/driver only if service is excellent.
- Accommodation, flights, travel insurance and any other person expenses during tour;
Detailed Tour Itinerary:
Meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby in Guilin and travel 2hrs by car to the Jinkeng Rice Terraces.
The first stop is Tiantouzhai Village, which is a smaller village adjacent to the larger Dazhai Village at the Jinkeng Rice Terraces.
If you prefer a shorter hike, our driver can even take you directly to the cable car station and skip the long walk. As this is a private tour, you have complete flexibility over how much hiking you’d like to do, all you need is to simply communicate your preferences to your guide on the day.
Upon arriving at the cable car station, you will take a one-way cable car up to explore the rice terraces on the opposite side of the mountain. After your visit, you will make your way down to the base of the terraces (Dazhai Village), where your private driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Guilin.
The walk down takes approximately 40 minutes. If you prefer not to hike further, you may purchase a round-trip cable car ticket (at your own cost) to take the cable car back down instead.
In the evening, we will drop you off at your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo.
