The Li River Cruise
The Li River Cruise travels from Guilin to Yangshuo. The best views along the river are located in Yangshuo. The private motorized Li River raft will take you to appreciate the most gorgeous views along the river from Yangdi to Nine-horse Fresco Hill or from Xingping to Nine-horse Fresco Hill and then back to Xingping. From Yangdi to Nine-horse Fresco Hill, you will admire the Wave Stone Legend, and Xialong Scenery.
On the bamboo raft from Xingping to Nine-horse Fresco Hill and then back to Xingping, you will see Yellow Cloth Reflection with Nine-horse Fresco Hill.

The Yulong River Valley
The Yulong River runs for nearly 16 kilometers in the Yangshuo Countryside. Karst hills in the valley roll up and down. Some of the hills stand alone, offering unique natural charm as well. In spring, fields in the area are decorated with golden rape flowers. If it is foggy, the area is just like a fairyland.
Profile of the hills appears for a while and disappear for a while with the fog flowing. In addition, you also could find old bridges, old villages, and old tombs in the area. You could explore the valley on a bamboo raft, on a bike or with your foot.
Since the debut in March 2004, the Impression 3rd Sister Liu Show has been popular among the audience. It is not just a feast for eyes but also for mind and soul.
With a background of 12 karst hills in the Li River and the 2-kilometers-long stage of the Li River, it is a combination of folk songs of Zhuang people, cormorant fishing culture on the river and the amazing landscape along the river as well. Green, red, blue, golden and silver colors are applied properly in the show to create shocking views.
Located in the southwest of Putao Town, Yangshuo, Cuiping Hill stands at Cuiping Village. It offers the stunning sunset. The Turtle River runs by the hill to the distance while the hills around add more beauty to the hill during the sunset. Plots of big and small farmland at the bottom of the Cuiping Hill are planted with different crops, which give a colorful grounding for photographing. It should be noted that the road to the top is not easy to walk on.
The Li River winding by the foot of the hill, Xianggong Hill offers a great spot to appreciate the sunrise. On the very early morning, the golden sunshine penetrates through the clouds, creating an ideal material for the photography purposes. If it rains a little, fog around the hills makes for one-of-a-kind views too. It just requires 10 to 15 minutes walk up to the top of the hill.
Laozhai Mountain is the best spot for enjoying the sunrise as well as sunset. On the top of the hill, you could see the panoramic views of Xingping Old Town and the karst hills in different appearances. The Li River turns 180 degrees at the bottom of the hill.
During the sunset, the red background is dotted with the green points of the hills. Compared to the other two hills mentioned above, Laozhai Mountain is the most dangerous to explore. If your body conditions allow, it is also recommended that you take a head lamp or a flashlight and wear a pair of comfortable hiking shoes.
