With an elevation of 700 meters, Great Wall of China (Jinshanling) is located 90 kilometers from Chengdu Mountain Resort. The Great Wall of China (Jinshanling) starts from the historical Pass of Gubeikou in the west and reaches the towering Wangjing Tower in the east. It is 10.5 kilometers long. There are 5 passes, 67 enemy watchtowers and 3 beacon towers along the route.

The easternmost section of the Great Wall (Jinshanling) is called the Great Wall of the Word Brick. Seventy percent of the bricks are engraved with characters, which show the constructors and building time of the great wall. It is very unique and precious. In addition, this section of the Great Wall has not been hardly repaired, so it is still relatively simple.

On the road, there are three forks leading to Great Walls on the top of the mountain. One of the three forks is Hanlong Gully close to the entrance of the scenic area, one is Shaling Gully in the middle, and the third one is Zhuanduokou at the deepest point of the road. It takes 1 hour climb from each fork to the Great Wall. If your conditions are not for climbing, you could take the chairlift from Hanlong Gully uphill to the great wall on the top of the mountain. If you are adventure enthusiasts, Zhuanduokou is the most ideal entrance for the hike up to the great wall
