Covering an area of 4 hectares, Guangxi Museum is composed of the main modern exhibition building and the distinctive building for the cultural relics of ethnic minorities where you can find the Zhuang stilted house, the Yao bamboo house, Dong drum tower, Dong wind and rain bridge, etc.

Guangxi Baiyue Cultural Relics Exhibition reflects the wisdom, diligence and braveness of the Guangxi people in the ancient times through the hand-made Baise stone axe, an old stone shovel, stamped pottery, bronze drums, and miniature and large restoration scenarios of important cultural sites such as Huashan Rock Paintings and Lingqu Irrigation System and so on. Highlights Exhibition of Porcelain presents the development of porcelain from the Warring States Period (475 - 221 BC) to the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912) in Guangxi. You can admire the old plain ones in the Warring States Period, the colorful exquisite porcelains from the Song (960 - 1279), Yuan (1271 - 1368) through the Ming (1368 - 1644) and to the Qing Dynasties. You’ll see the clear differences among the porcelains. Exhibition of Danqing Guiyun showcases the outstanding works of Guangxi’s calligraphers and artists and those who lived in Guangxi for short or long time from the Qing Dynasty to modern times, including the works by Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Xu Beihong and other masters. The distinctive building for the cultural relics of ethnic minorities has a variety of workshops. Visitors can know the process of the traditional oil pressing, rice milling, paper making and the like. In addition, the museum irregularly holds special and temporary exhibitions and activities for young children to experience. |

- Several buses pass by the museum. Thus, there are several options.
- Rent a vehicle to the museum. This is the quickest and most direct option.
- Take Bus 11, 23, 30, 33, 63, 205 or Bus 211 to the Stop of Wenwuyuan (文物苑站). And walk to the museum.
- Take Bus 6, 34, 79 or Bus 213 to the Stop of Minzu Gucheng Lukou (民族古城路口站). And walk to the museum.

- Opening hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (visitors are not allowed to enter the museum from 16:00). It is closed on Mondays except festivals.
- Tourists are required to present the passports to get the free entrance ticket.
