Compared to the Elephant Trunk Hill, Diecai Hill is less touristy. It is a good spot for those who like a quiet environment. Several pavilions offers a rest place to you to take a rest. In the ancient time, Diecai Hill was popular among tourists and poets. Thus, you’ll find some stone inscriptions made for long on the wall of the hill. In addition, the stone statues of Buddha on the wall are also the highlights there.

Beiyou Cave has a entrance facing the north. The cave is dotted with more than 10 places of stone inscriptions. The inscriptions were created in or before the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). They presents the tours to the Diecai Hill of the writers.

Set in the hillside of Mingyue Hill, Tai Chi Cave just has an area of 50 square meters. But the stone pillars make the road winding in the cave. Visibility in the cave is very low.

Standing by the Li River, Mingyue Peak is 223 meters above sea level. Its relative height is 73 meters. The steps on the peak are a little steep. It looks like a bamboo shoot. On the top of the peak, you could admire the panoramic views of the city. Wind Cave in the hillside can just accommodate one person to walk through. With a shape of gourd, it runs from north to south. Originally, the cave was a old underground watercourse. In the different seasons, the wind in the cave offers visitors different feelings.

Xianhe Peak features a cave hillside. With a shape of triangle, the cave is around 14 meters tall and 60 meters long. The wall of the cave is carved with many characters. Some of them are indiscernible as they were made hundreds of years ago.

Originally built in the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907), Mulong Old Pagoda is 4.34 meters tall. The base is made of 3 layers of stone drums which are carved with lotus patterns. The bottle-shaped body has 4 niches in the 4 directions. In the west and east niches are the statues of Buddha while in the north and south niches are the statues of Bodhisattva.
