Day 1 – Stay overnight near Bipenggou Valley
- 8:00 am: Meet at your Chengdu Hotel Lobby (breakfast not included)
- 9:00 am: Visit the giant pandas & red pandas at Dujiangyan Panda Valley
- 11:30 am: Depart Panda Valley
- 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Arrive at Himalaya Villages and have lunch at local restaurant ( included)
- 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Explore the Himalaya Villages
- 4:30 pm Drop off at Ramada Guergou – Depends on availability when booking the tour (Hotel Included)

Day 2 – Explore Bipenggou Scenic Valley
- 8:00 am: Meet at your hotel after breakfasts
- 9:00 am – 2:30 pm: Explore Bipenggou Scenic Park (Walk or take eco cart to Viewpoints – Flexible hiking options easy to moderate)

Detailed Tour Itinerary:
Pre-Tour– Stay overnight in Chengdu City
Arrive into Chengdu the day before your tour is scheduled to begin or alternatively, activities/itinerary/day order can be changed to reflect your arrival time – Please arrange your own accommodations for this night .
Day 1 – Stay overnight at Ramada Guergou or Similar (Subject to availability – We will confirm the hotel details when receiving the booking!)
In the morning, your licensed English-speaking tour guide and professional driver will meet you at your Chengdu Hotel Lobby. Thereafter, travel to the Dujiangyan Panda Valley. This valley is where pandas are released back into the wild and allows visitors the opportunity to see Pandas in a natural environment (as opposed to at the Panda Research Base). You’ll spend a couple of hours exploring the Dujiangyan Panda Valley and keeping your eyes peeled to see Pandas!,
After your visit, continue the drive into the Aba Tibetan region. Here you will stop by a local Tibetan village to enjoy an local lunch and experience the unique culture and daily life of the local community. This is a great opportunity to see traditional architecture, meet local families, and understand the cultural heritage of the highland tribes.
Following lunch, you will continue the travel to Guergou/Bipenggou Valley Region. Upon arrival, check in to your hot spring hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Dinner can be arranged at the hotel or nearby restaurants on your own costs, and you may enjoy the hot spring facilities to unwind after a scenic day in the mountains.
Day 2 – Explore Bipenggou Valley – Overnight stay near Siguniang Town
In the morning, your guide will meet you at your guesthouse at 8:00 am (private tour so it is flexible), to commence the day’s activities. You will Take the scenic shuttle into the valley and spend the late morning exploring its highlights—from pristine lakes and snow-fed streams to dense forests and dramatic mountain backdrops. Whether you prefer light walks or leisurely photo stops, the valley offers flexible pacing for all visitors.
You will have a late lunch before continue your journey deeper into the highlands, traveling along winding mountain roads toward Mt. Siguniang, also known as the “Oriental Alps.” In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Siguniang Town. You will check in to your local guesthouse or hotel, and take the rest of the evening at leisure. This altitude reaches 3,200 meters higher, so take it slow and stay hydrated.
Day 3 – Explore Mt Siguniang – Return to Chengdu
After breakfast, head out to explore Shuangqiao Valley, the most accessible and scenic valley within Mt. Siguniang National Park. This valley is perfect for visitors who want to enjoy stunning alpine landscapes without strenuous hiking. Board the eco-shuttle and make several scenic stops along the way, each offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, meadows, rivers, and glacier formations. Your guide will share insights on local wildlife, vegetation, and the origins of the valley’s dramatic geology.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will depart from Mt. Siguniang and begin the drive back to Chengdu (Approx. 4 -4.5hrs by car). You are expect to arrive at your Chengdu Hotel or at the airport in the evening. For tonight, you will arrange your own accommodations or flight/train out of Chengdu, concluding your memorable 3-day Chengdu Highland adventure 🙂
