Zhaolin Park - ice paradise from December through until February
Originally built in 1906 at the heart of Harbin City, Zhaolin Park is located across the Songhua River. It features two different types of natural landscape to enjoy in summer and winter. From late December to late February, the park is an ice paradise with amazing ice lanterns and sculptures.

Best time to visit Zhaolin Park
If you’d like to visit the park for photography purposes, the best time to visit is at night in winter.
The best months to visit are from December to February and from May to July.
How to get to Zhaolin Park
Several buses pass by the park. Thus, there are several options.
- Rent a vehicle to the park. This is the quickest and most direct option.
- Take Bus 4, 8, 23, 53, 83, 113, 114, 132, 136, 201, or Bus 206 to the Stop of Zhaolin Park (兆麟公园). Then walk to the park.
Additional Zhaolin Park Travel Advice
- Opening hours: 08:00 – 17:30
- Opening hours between January 5 and late February for the ice festival: 10:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 21:30
- As at 9th October 2020, tourists can visit the park for free.
- During the ice festival, visitors are required to pay for the entrance ticket. As at 5th December 2019, the pricing for the entrance ticket during the festival is unknown.
- If you are planning to visit the park in winter, please wear enough warm clothes.
