The park is popular among locals. You may see locals enjoying roller skating, playing mahjong or just chatting with each other.
In winter, the park is covered with snow and ice. From late December, the park is decorated with amazing ice lanterns and sculptures. The rail of gate is usually built into ice wall. You can find several breathtaking ice castles, ice towers and other types of ice structures, such as fishes, eagles, tigers and other ice animals in the park. In the day between late November and late December, you may see sculptors creating their ice works in the park. At night, the sculptures in the colorful lights will be more gorgeous.
