In October, Wulingyuan Scenic Area is dotted with colorful trees and wild flowers. You will be attracted by the breathtaking scenery there. The area is composed of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is home to tens of waterfalls and streams. In October, the water currents may be small as it doesn’t rain much. When you walk along the plank road at the bottom of the canyon, you may feel that you are so tiny and inconspicuous.

​There is a 2.5-kilometers-long old bluestone street in the town. You will find old Tujia buildings on the street. One waterfall is set in the middle of the town. In October, views of the waterfall might not be so amazing as those in May.
