1. Wulingyuan Scenic Area

Wulingyuan Scenic Area is composed of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is famed for Yuanjiajie where Avatar was shot. In addition, you could explore Golden Whip Stream on foot which is named after the Golden Whip Rock. When it is rainy in February, fog will float around the area of the stream, creating a fairy land’s view. On rainy days, Yuanjiajie might be hidden in much fog that it couldn’t be seen.

Suoxiyu Nature Reserve consists of 6 small scenic areas, such as Ten-mile Gallery, Shuirao Simen, Xihai, Baizhang Valley and so on. 3. Tianmen Mountain

If you are planning to visit Tianmen Mountain in February, you are required to buy the ticket beforehand. It is 105 meters long from east to west and 62 meters wide from north to south. It also offers stone flowers, stone curtains, stone pillars, stone pearls and stone corals with different appearances. It is warm in the cave in February.
