Wulong Karst - world natural heritage site near Chongqing

Wulong Karst features a variety of natural landscape, including caves, valleys, peak clusters, and alpine grasslands. The area is a combination of leisure, sports, entertainment, and customs of the ethnic minorities , such as Tujia, Miao and Gelao People.
What to expect at Wulong Karst
Wulong Karst lies around 3 hours ride from Chongqing City. The main scenic attractions there include Natural Three Bridges, Fairy Mountain and Furong Cave.
Natural Three Bridges features the natural stone Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge. They are the largest natural stone bridges in Asia.
With an area of 8,910 hectares, Fairy Mountain offers the main peak with an elevation of 2,033 meters above the sea level. It features the alpine grassland, the snow-covered forest in winter as well as the green woods in summer. It is acclaimed “ Switzerland in the East”. Visitors can enjoy skating there in winter as well.
Furong Cave is 2,700 meters long. The cenotes found in the cave are the largest one around China. The sightseeing trail is 1,860 meters long. It offers stalagmites and stalactites with a variety of shapes to enjoy.
In summer, Furong River is a paradise for tourists. The section in Chonqing Region is 35 kilometers long. You could enjoy the cruise and drifting on the river in summer.
Longshui Valley Ground Crack is composed of the crack at the entrance, the hole at the middle part and the valley at the exit. The steep cliffs on either side is covered with plants.

How to get to Wulong Karst
Unfortunately, there is no direct bus to Wulong Karst from Chongqing. Therefore, the only option is to rent a vehicle from Chongqing.
