Wulin Square is well-known for the music fountain of eight girls sculptures. Located west of the West Lake, it is one of the busiest business districts in Hangzhou. You can find many luxury brands in Hangzhou Tower.

What to expect at Wulin Square
Wulin Square features the music fountain, three museums and many entertainment facilities.
The fountain is plum blossom shaped. The sculptures of three dancing girls in the traditional Chinese costumes stand for the pistil while petals are the sculptures of five girls who are playing Pipa, Sheng, Guzheng, Konghou and flute. The sculptures are surrounded by fountain water. At night, the fountain gives out amusing music. Blue, green and pink add more attraction to the fountain. Views of the fountain are very gorgeous at night.

One of the landmarks of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Exhibition Hall also stands on the square. It is the most influential in Zhejiang Province for long. The hall covering an area of 1.2 hectare with an exhibition area of nearly 5,000 square meters, about 200 booths can be set there.
The piano staircase is one of the highlight on Wulin Square. Every step stands for one musical note. When you walk on the steps, they’ll give out the corresponding melody. It can be exciting and interesting experience.
After wandering the square, you can refresh yourself at one nearby cafe or restaurant. Nearly every week, a variety of exhibitions are held on the square. At night, locals sing and dance there as well.
If you’d like to visit Wulin Square for photography purposes, the best time to visit is at night.
The best months to visit are from April to October.
You can take Metro Line 1 to the Stop of Wulin Guangchang (武林广场) or take Bus 182, 201 or 205 to the Stop of Wulin Guangchang (武林广场). The quickest and most direct option is to rent a vehicle to the square.
