This type of boat can just take 6 passengers and it isn’t permitted to stop at the islet in the lake, which means that passengers can’t be able to explore the islet. If you are interested to pay a visit to the islet in the West Lake, you can take the power-driven wooden cruise boat. On this kind of boat, you can just appreciate the bird’s eye views of the Three Pools Mirroring Pagoda in the distance. However, it can take you to Xiaoyingzhou Islet near the pagoda. Another type of pleasure boat just runs around the islet but doesn’t stop at the islet. It is proper for those who don’t want to spend so much time on the lake. |

You can take a vehicle to one of the piers for the cruise boats or take one bus to it.

- Opening hours: 08:00 - 16:00 (March 16 - November 15) and 10:00 - 15:30 (November 16 - March 15)
- As at 9th October 2020, the entrance ticket for power-driven wooden cruise boat (including the entrance to the Xiaoyingzhou Islet) is 55 CNY per person; children between 1.2m tall (1.2m tall not included) and 1.5m tall (1.5m tall not included) are charged 25 CNY per person; children under 1.2m tall (1.2m tall included) is free of charge.
- The entrance ticket for luxury cruise boat (including the entrance to the Xiaoyingzhou Islet) is 70 CNY per person; children between 1.2m tall (1.2m tall not included) and 1.5m tall (1.5m tall not included) are charged 35 CNY per person; children under 1.2m tall (1.2m tall included) is free of charge.
- The entrance ticket for the kind of boat just running around the Xiaoyingzhou Islet is 50 CNY per person; children between 1.2m tall (1.2m tall not included) and 1.5m tall (1.5m tall not included) are charged 25 CNY per person; children under 1.2m tall (1.2m tall included) is free of charge.
- The charter pricing to the sculling boat is 180 CNY per boat per hour.
