Shanghai to Guilin (Flights)

For now, there are around 8 direct flights from Shanghai to Guilin every day. Five flights take off in the daytime while two flights fly to Guilin from Shanghai. Generally speaking, the journey takes around 2.5 hours.

For now, the train of G1501 is only one high-speed train from Shanghai to Guilin every day. It starts at 10:03 am from Shanghai Hongqiao Train Station and arrives at Guilin Train Station at 19:02 pm.

​There are five more ordinary passenger trains from Shanghai to Guilin. The shortest journey takes around 17 hours while the longest journey takes around 24.5 hours.

  • Flights to Main Cities + High-Speed Train

If there is no direct flight from Shanghai to Guilin, you could take a direct flight to the main cities which are located within several hours ride in a high-speed train and then get to Guilin by train. There are tens of direct flights from Shanghai to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Changsha, Nanning, Wuhan, and Guiyang.

  • High-Speed Train to Main Cities + High-Speed Train

If there is neither direct flight nor direct train from Shanghai to Guilin, you also could take a high-speed train to Shanghai first from the main cities near Guilin and then take a direct high-speed train to Guilin. The cities include Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Liuzhou, Nanning, Wuhan, Guiyang, and Chongqing.
