1. Li River Cruise

It also takes you to the most beautiful section of the river. 2. Visit Yangshuo
- If you take a big boat to Yangshuo from Guilin, the West Street could be your first stop after the cruise. 4 hours cruise is a long journey. You could refresh yourself at one of the restaurants, or cafes or just walk around the street.
- Yulong River Valley features the bamboo rafting, cycling and walking to experience. The bamboo raft is manually operated by locals through a bamboo pole. - If you are a keen photographer, Xianggong Hill and Cuiping Hill are the best spots to you. Both of the hills offer picturesque backgrounds of farmland and karst hills in the distance. In October, the Impression 3rd Sister Liu Show is always put on daily as the water level in the Li River is below the warning line. The show is performed by hundreds of local villagers in Yangshuo. 6. Yao Mountain
Yao Mountain is dotted with golden and red maple leaves and pine leaves in October. In addition, if you explore the trail winding the mountain, you will be amazed at colorful wild flowers. If you are interested in the history of Jingjiang Princes in the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), it is recommended that you explore the tombs.
7. Longji Rice Terraces
In the first half of October, rice is golden. Sometimes, local villagers will celebrate the harvest festival through several interesting activities during the period of time. As it is home to Zhuang and Yao people for hundreds of years, you also could explore one or two villages there.
