What to expect at the Suzhou International Expo Center

Opened in October 2004, the Suzhou International Expo Center is fitted with 50,000 meeting area with 60 meeting rooms, including a luxury column-free banquet hall covering an area of 8,000 square meters. The hall, called Jinji Hall is 12 meters tall. It is a good place to hold large national and international events, weddings, and ceremonies.

Large exhibition, annual meetings of enterprises, press conferences and concerts can be held in the 25,000-square-meters column-free multifunctional exhibition hall. Comprising of 3 840-square meters of banquet halls, the luxury column-free banquet hall with a height of 15 meters, can accommodate large meetings, press conferences, and so on.

 

Suzhou International Expo Center also provides 5-star professional food & beverage teams who can offer Chinese and Western dishes, buffet, cocktail parties, tea breaks, and business set meals. In addition, they are able to customize the menu based on the preferences and requirements of the clients.

 

With an area of 3,000 square meters, Jiangna Shuiyun Hall is built in the style of Suzhou garden decorated with artificial hills, ponds, and exquisite pavilions to appreciate. The 4-meters-tall Gusu Hall in the traditional Chinese style is also a luxury column-free banquet hall composed of 6 small banquet halls, proper for meetings, press conferences, weddings, etc. Peony Hall in Western Style has an area of 1,400 square meters.

 

Nearby hotels include Novotel Suzhou SIP, Grand Metropark Hotel Suzhou, Holiday Inn Express Suzhou Industrial Park, InterContinental Suzhou, Crowne Plaza Suzhou, and Suzhou Marritt Hotel. You can also find shopping malls close to the center, such as Shin Kong Place, Jiuguang Department Store, Moonlight Dock and Yuanrong Times Square.

The best time to visit the center is in the morning.

The best months to visit are from April to October.

 

How to get to the Suzhou International Expo Center

You can take Metro Line 1 to the Stop of Cultural Expo Center (文化博览中心站) and walk to Exit 3 or take Bus 2, 47, 106, 108, E120, W120, 127, 156, 206, 219, 812 K2 or K9 to the Stop of International Expo Center (国际博览中心站) and walk to the center. Or you can just rent a vehicle to the center, which is the quickest and most direct option.

  • As at 15th October 2020, The 3rd Suzhou Spring Festival Shopping Fair is being held at the center until 19th January 2020. Visitors are free to enter the center.
