The Suzhou Culture and Arts Center lies at Jinji Lake. It has a construction area of some 150,000 square meters. It is composed of a cinema, an auditorium, a concert hall, a theater, an art museum, a cultural hall, a training center and a commercial center.

The theater, an international picture-frame theater offers more than 1,000 seats. Fitted with the most advanced equipment, it has an international triangle stage. Many national and international operas, concerts, dance dramas and plays are irregularly held in the theater.
The auditorium features an European style. The number of seats is adjustable between 300 and 500. It is a great spot where small solo, small theater dramas, child plays and other small shows are held.
The first 5-star cinema in Suzhou, the cinema in the center is the only one that can be accessible via rail transit in Suzhou. It is fitted with 1 IMAX huge panoramic movie hall and 7 luxury movie halls with different styles.
Suzhou Symphony Orchestra and Suzhou Ballet are also based in Suzhou Culture and Arts Center. The art museum there irregularly holds national and international art shows.
You can visit the center at any time during the opening hours.
The best months to visit are from March to November.
As the center is located near Jinji Lake, you can take Bus 2, 47, 106, 108, 129, 156, 215, 219, 258, or Bus K2 to the Stop of Guoji Bolan Zhongxin (国际博览中心站) or rent a vehicle to the nearest spot to the center. Then walk to the center.
