What to expect at Shangshui Delicacy Street

With the traditional buildings in the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912) style, Shangshui Delicacy Street is well-known for its various types of tasty food. It gathers snacks from around the country. The pricing is also reasonable.

 

You could find Chongqing Hot and Sour Rice Noodles, Yangshou Beer Fish, Fried Potatoes in Cheese, kabab, Roasted chicken wings and legs, South Korean dish, Sushi, Naan bread, roasted corns, baked oysters, Guilin Rice Noodles, Omurice, etc. One of the most popular local ones is Beef Offal Soup there. How to get to Shangshui Delicacy Street

As the street lies in a “No Traffic Zone”, you’d need to get to the Stop of Stop of Liberation Bridge (解放桥站) by Bus 10, 11, 14, 18, 24, 25 or Bus 30. And then walk along the Zhengyang Pedestrian Street for around 5 minutes. When you pass the Bell Tower in the street, you’ll see the Chinese characters of 尚水美食街on the left.
