What to expect at Mulong Lake

Mulong Lake is decorated with a variety of plantation. It was built based on the painting of “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”. It is dotted with buildings in Song (960 – 1279) Dynasty style. The Li River offers the water source to the lake. At the Song Street, you’ll get a little acquainted with the life in Guilin in the Song Dynasty. Many of the wooden buildings are 2-layer structures.

A single arch stone bridge spans over the Mulong Lake. The wooden Mulong Tower was built according to the Blue Dragon Tower in the Song Dynasty. The 9-layer building is 45 meters tall. It is painted with red. At night, the tower in the golden light becomes more appealing. The buildings in the colorful lights along the lake make for amazing views. The reflection of the tower in the lake, the tower itself and colorful lights on the lake are also a feast for eyes.
