Longji Zhuang Rice Terraces features the well-preserved local traditions to experience. It offers Longji Zhuang Village to explore. Lots of tourists are not interested to discover the village. Longji Zhuang Village
Ping’an Zhuang Rice Terraces is located between Longji Zhuang Rice Terraces and Jinkeng Rice Terraces. Generally speaking, it takes around 40 minutes walk from Longji Zhuang Rice Terraces to Ping’an Zhuang Rice Terraces. In April, if you stand at the Viewpoint of Nine Dragons and Five Tigers after the rain, views before you could be stunning. Rice terraces with water and floating clouds and fog on the mountain in the distance make for great materials for photography purposes. You will also be refreshed in the natural beauty. Hotels at Ping’an Village are fitted with good facilities, featuring different styles. As the houses are built in wood, sound insulation effect is not so good as that of hotels in Guilin or Yangshuo.
Ping’an Zhuang Village Rice Terraces
Jinkeng Rice Terraces is the largest one in Longji. It is very popular among Chinese domestic tourists as it offers the cable car to the Viewpoint of Golden Buddha Peak from Dazhai Village. Some people think views in Jinkeng are the most stunning in Longji. If you’d like to, you could hike around the rice terraces to explore several ethnic minority villages. Red Yao people have lived here for hundreds of years. Part of the trails might be muddy after the rain. It is recommended that you wear a pair of waterproof shoes, bring a raincoat and an umbrella with you in April.
