Long Ta - the tallest steel tower in Asia

One of the landmark buildings in Harbin, Long Ta is 336 meters tall. It is a comprehensive multifunctional tower integrating radio and television transmission, tourism, catering and entertainment, advertising communication, and wireless communication.

What to expect at Long Ta
Long Ta offers featured spots to explore. On the ground is the sacred altar of Yan Huang descendants presenting the traditional history. On the first ground, you’ll find a modern science hall offering interesting interactive activities to experience.
Another interesting hall is the Folk Customs of Northeast China. The traditional articles of daily use in Northeast China are in the original places. You’ll see Kang (a heatable brick bed), windows pasted with large paper from outside, kerosene lamps, and other traditional tools in the hall.
After exploring the halls, you accompanied by the staff can take the high-speed lift to the viewpoint at the height of 181 meters. The round viewpoint is built with transparent glass. Walking on the see-through viewpoint is thrilling. In addition, you can go up to the revolving restaurant offering authentic Russian cuisine at the height of 186 meters. To appreciate the panoramic views and the sunset during dinner is also unforgettable experience.
The outdoor viewpoint at the height of 190 meters may offer more adrenaline-rising experience to you. You can admire the bird’s eye views of the city and the amazing skyline in 360 degrees.
Pray Hall at the height of 206 meters gathers the precious statues of Buddha in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) which were collected from the four well-known Buddhist mountains across China.

If you’d love to visit the cathedral for photography purposes, the best time to visit is at night.

How to get to Long Ta
A few buses pass by the tower. Thus, there are a few options.
- Rent a vehicle to the tower. This is the quickest and most direct option.
- Take Bus 7, 24, 71, 112 or Bus 209 to the Stop of Long Ta (龙塔站). Then walk to the tower.

- As at 9th October 2020, the pass ticket for the Dialect Gallery of Northeast China, the Folk Customs Hall of Northeast China, 181-meters-tall Viewpoint, 190-meters-tall Viewpoint, 203-meters Sky Tea House, Pray Hall, Dinosaur Science Word and light show is 150 CNY per person; children between 1.2m tall (1.2m tall not included) and 1.4m tall (1.4m tall not included) are charged 55 CNY per person; children under 1.2m tall (1.2m tall included) are free of charge; the elder between 60 years old (60 years old included) and 65 years old (65 years old included) are charged 75 CNY per person; the elder above 65 years old (65 years old not included) are free of charge.
