Liuhe Pagoda offers no lift in the building. If you’d like to enjoy the bird’s eye views of the city on the top, you’d need to climb the steps. The steps are a little steep. Each floor is divided into the outer wall, the corridor, the inner wall and the square small chamber in the middle. The caisson ceiling in the chamber is supported by bucket arches. The chamber every floor is decorated with different stunning frescoes. Every floor features a viewpoint where you can enjoy the views around.

There are niches on both sides of the doorway of Liuhe Tower, and there are Xumizuo seats under the niche. In the middle of the niche are carved with various types of patterns, such as flowers, phoenix, peacocks, lions, etc. You can also find the carvings of Buddhist text in the pagoda. More than 200 pieces of brick carvings are well-preserved in the pagoda as well.

Liuhe Pagoda is situated in a park which is dotted with miniatures of many pagodas across China. Materials in the exhibition hall introduce them briefly.
