Acclaimed as the largest and most popular temple in Da Nang Region, Linh Ung Buddhist Temple covers an area of nearly 20 hectares. Located in Son Tra Penninsula, it overlooks the My Khe Beach and offers panoramic views of Da Nang.

What to expect at the Linh Ung Buddhist Temple
The Linh Ung Buddhist Temple features a Chinese Style. As Linh Ung Buddhist Temple awas built by the Vietnamese Chinese, you’ll see many Chinese characters there. The court is decorated with a variety of flowers and bonsai that you’ll see flowers in blossom no matter you visit in whatever season.
The main hall is a combination of modern structure and traditional style. In the middle of the main hall is the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. On the left of the Buddha is Sanzang Buddha while on the right is the statue of Bodhisattva. In the temple, you’ll find stone pillars engraved with exquisite dragon, which is quite spectacular. The road leading to the main hall is lined with 18 statues of Arhat. They are all carved from white marble. Each presents different countenance.
The marble statue of Lady Buddha outside is around 67 meters tall. It is a 17-storey tall statue. The diameter of the lotus throne is 35 meters. On the 17th floor, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the entire city. In the statue, 21 statues of Buddhas with different countenance and in different sizes are worshiped. In the crown of the statue, you’ll find the 2-meters-tall statue of Sakyamuni Buddha.

Unfortunately, there is no direct bus to the temple. So the only option is to rent a vehicle.
