Ho Chi Minh’s Vestige (Presidential Palace Area) is surrounded by tall walls and warning lines. The Presidential Palace is closed to the public while the stilted house is opened to the public. There is a small lake in the vestige. It is said that Ho Chi Minh was used to pondering walking around the lake. He also liked keeping fish that he put fishes into the lake. When he was free, he usually enjoyed fishing at the lake.
Several brands of cars Ho Chi Minh took are well-preserved in the vestige as well. They were sent to Ho Chi Minh by several foreign leaders. Visitors are permitted to explore the study, the office and the bedroom. All the furniture, tableware, books, and office supplies are set in the original places. The Presidential Palace Area is dotted with green trees.​
