With an area of 2,094 square kilometers, Ho Chi Minh City is situated in South Vietnam. The city center is located 50 kilometers from the sea. The coastline is 15 kilometers long. From 1954 to 1976, it was the capital of Vietnam. Influenced by the West World, its economy was more developed than any other city in Vietnam in the 20th Century.
