#10 Zhengyang Walking Street

Zhengyang Walking Street is located opposite East West Alley in Guilin City. It is the oldest and busiest commercial street in Guilin. The buildings on the street feature Chinese and European styles. You could enjoy yourself on the street with a variety of food or local handicrafts.

#9 Cuiping Hill

Located in the Yangshuo Countryside, Cuiping Hill is becoming more and more popular among photographers and tourists for its stunning sunset with the natural beauty of the karst hills and plots of fields around.

#8 Daxu Ancient Town

Situated around 20 kilometers from Guilin City, Daxu Ancient Town was established in 200 AD. It features an old street with the ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties style. There are also old bridges, old piers and old tombs between the Warring States (475 – 221 BC) and the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC – 8 AD).

Yao Mountain is the most famous in Guilin City for its views from the top of the mountain. On the top of the mountain, you will be amazed at the karst hills around and the bird’s eye views of the city. If you climb up to the top of the mountain on the very early morning of the fine days, you will be rewarded with the gorgeous sunrise.

Impression 3rd Sister Liu Show combines the views of the 12 karst hills standing in or along the Li River. With the Li River as the stage, the show demonstrates local life and local culture in Guilin.

#5 Longji Rice Terraces

Longji Rice Terraces is composed of Longji Zhuang, Ping’an Zhuang and Jinkeng Rice Terraces. They offer the amazing sunrise and sunset on sunny days. After rain, the ethnic minorities villages are hidden in the clouds, which is also stunning. The villages feature local houses with hanging feet and you could experience the local life there.

Xianggong Hill has enjoyed a good reputation among photographers and tourists for its clouds and sunrise on fine days and the bird’s eye views of the Li River. It just requires 10-15 walk up.
