Chengdu Panda Research Base offers you a great chance to keep close to the lovely giant pandas as well as panda cubs. It is situated in a quiet and comfortable environment on the Axe Mountain, around 17 kilometers from the People’s Park. The base also has a restaurant which offers food made of similar ingredients to the food pandas enjoy to experience.

Jinli Pedestrian Street lies close to the Wuhouci Temple. It is suggested that you visit the street to relax yourself after the visit to the temple. The street features the old buildings in end Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). On the street, you will see some of the traditional culture, such as shadow play, sugar painting, clay sculptures and face-changing of the Sichuan Opera.

Qingcheng Mountain stands some 15 kilometers from Dujiangyan Irrigation System. The environment there is very quiet. The mountain offers tens of old Taoist buildings to explore. If you are planning to visit Chengdu in summer, the mountain will be a great summer resort.

Chunxi Pedestrian Street is a paradise for foodies, shopping lovers and photographers, especially in summer. Young ladies dress up and wander the street in summer.
The street is a combination of various types of restaurants, accommodations, interesting boutiques and local snacks. It is one of the most popular streets among the young people in Chengdu.
