What to expect at Century Park Shanghai
The Century Park features the largest artificial lake in Shanghai – Jingtian Lake with a diameter of around 300 meters. There are dozens of species of birds in the bird sanctuary at the park where you will find dozens of gray magpies play and sing. The most representative attraction is the Century Flower Clock in the northern part of Jingtian Lake. The clock is one of the landmarks for the park. To our surprise, the flower clock is not just a decoration, but it has a real timing function and is controlled by satellite instruments.
You can walk in the green labyrinth; admire the plant camels, plant peacocks and many other plant-built shapes, as well as special sculptures such as the Green World and the Olmeiga ethnic sculptures. In addition, you can refresh yourself at the amusement park featuring bumper cars, skywalking, drifting boats and many other children’s rides. To the west of the amusement park is the music fountain with 208 nozzles and more than 600 lanterns. Here you can see the water column dance to music.
