Originally set up in 1999, Bingxue Big World offers different amazing ice sculptures, entertainment facilities and other ice landscapes to tourists every year.

What to expect at Bingxue Ice World
From January 5, 2020, Bingxue Big World will presents one-of-a-kind ice shows, sculptures and ice sports to enjoy.
The 40-meters-tall Ice Crown is designed based on Twin Towers. It is the largest ice landscape in the theme park. Four colors standing for different meanings make it more appealing.
Ice Peak Viewpoint is the prime location to admire the ice landscape around the park. The viewpoint has several edges. The design makes a sharp contrast with the non-linear of the main tower. The viewpoint is 30 meters tall, which offers a great choice to enjoy the panoramic views of the park.
You can enjoy the exciting shows in the park as well. Dream Stage is built based on the design of Beijing Qianmen. Ice Waltz, figure skating and other ice shows will be put on the European Romantic Ice Stage.
Four themed ice castles are also highlights there. You can admire the gorgeous ice landscape at the viewpoint of the Maze Castle. The Byzantine Bicycle Castle has the parent-children interactive activity – cycling on ice. The Gothic Chinese Zodiac Castle features the ice relief of the 12 Chinese Zodiacs to enjoy. There is a fountain at the center of the castle. The Swing Castle is fitted with 12 swings to experience.
The high-speed huge ice swings offers 6 swings. When enjoy swinging, color of the light in the swing changes. There are also 15 types of ice rings for one person, two, three, four, and six persons and children. You’ll find more at the 2020 Bingxue Big World.

Best time to visit Bingxue Ice World

If you’d like to visit the festival for photography purposes, the best time is at night.
The best months to visit are from late December to late February.

 

How to get to Bingxue Ice World

You can take Bus 29, 47, 80, 119, 125, 126, 211, 552, or Bus 551 to the park. Alternatively, you can just rent a vehicle to the park.

 

Additional Bingxue Ice World Travel Advice

  • Opening hours: 11:00 – 21:30
  • As at 9th October 2020, the entrance ticket valid for 1 day is 290 CNY per person; the entrance ticket valid for 2 days is 460 CNY per person; the entrance ticket for the early entry (visitors are required to enter the park between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm) is 200 CNY per person; the entrance ticket for the New Year (visitors are required to enter the park after 22:00 on the 31st of December 2019) is 160 CNY per person; children between 1.2m tall (1.2m tall not included) and 1.4m tall (1.4m tall not included) are charged 200 CNY per person; children under 1.2m tall (1.2m tall included) and the elder above 65 years old (65 years old included) are free of charge.
