Beauty Peak National Forest Park is located around 150 kilometres from Chengdu and 50 kilometres from Leshan Big Buddha. Beauty Peak is 2,027 meters tall. Visitors can explore evergreen broad-leaved forest, deciduous forest, coniferous forest, shrub and other vegetation belts in the park.

Situated around 15 kilometers south of Shawan District, Leshan, Beauty Peak National Forest Park offers a stone forest covering an area of 10 square kilometers. Beauty Peak looks like a sleeping beauty, which the name got from. The forest is located 800 and 1,337 meters above sea level. Visitors can explore bamboo forests, stone gates, caves, various flowers, Sheshen Cliff, stone bonsai, stone animals, and Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple in the stone forest. The park is natural and unique in Southwest Sichuan.
If lucky, visitors can encounter wild animals in the Beauty Peak National Forest Park, such as egrets, Lady Amherst's Pheasant, big breasted psittaciformes, yellow throated marten, etc. |

How to get to the Beauty Peak National Forest Park
Beauty Peak National Forest Park is situated in Leshan Countryside. Therefore, there are only a few options.
- Rent a vehicle from Chengdu or Leshan. This is the quickest and most direct option.
- Take Bus 1 in Leshan to the Stop of Meinvfeng (美女峰站). The stop is around 8.5 kilometers from the park.
